Elizabeth Vargas
Born in Yuma, Arizona
Lives & works in Tucson, Arizona
I come from a great place. Born in the U.S. and into the Mexican culture, I learned quickly what it meant to be a family member, friend, woman and a well-faring citizen. I am the first generation Mexican-American; as so, I have lived a life in which I embrace the beauties of each culture.
As for my family, I couldn't be any more fortunate. I grew up with just enough: love, discipline, financial and emotional care. I credit my parents for always instilling hard work and dedication in order to earn what I wanted. I am forever greatful and proud.
My Mexican and American culture and family background are dear to my heart and continuously inform my work.
